Iris Air Photo Booth

Welcome to the Iris Air Photo Booth, located in the Laurie Riley ’82 Center for Career Success office on the second floor of the HUB. Our photo booth is a free, self-service professional headshot station that makes it easy for students and staff to take and receive high-quality headshots in minutes.

How it Works

  1. Check in with the Riley Center for Career Success front desk.
  2. Take a seat in the photo booth, and if needed, adjust the height using the side lever.
  3. Touch the screen to get started!
  4. Type in your email on the screen or use your phone to do so by scanning the QR code on screen.
  5. Choose the 3-second or 6-second timer.
  6. Focus on good posture for your headshot: Relax but keep your shoulders back, have your hands on your lap or by your side, and make direct eye contact with the camera. (Genuine smile!) *If you wear glasses it is recommended to remove them for your photos, unless you have glare proof glasses.
  7. Make sure to look at the camera above the screen and not the screen itself. After your photo is taken, you’ll immediately see a preview!
  8. Follow the same process and take two more photos.
  9. After you’re done, you’re allowed to select one photo for a retake.
  10. Before you leave, remember to touch the exit button on the screen.
  11. After you complete your session, a progress bar will appear at the bottom of the screen that shows your photos being uploaded to the Iris website.
  12. If nobody is waiting in line, feel free to start the process over if you’d like to take an additional round of photos.

Retrieving Headshots

  1. You’ll receive an email from noreply@irisbooth.com about 2-3 minutes after your session is complete.
  2. Click on the “Get Photos” button in your email.
  3. You’ll need to create an account on the Iris website with a username and password.
    1. Tip: Use the same email address that you entered at the photo booth and create a different password than your Single Sign-On password for extra security.
  4. Once you’ve created your account, you’ll be able to log in to the Iris website to view and download your headshots! You can also edit or retouch your photos before downloading.
